Britons ignore bank statements

Six out of ten people regularly ignore financial correspondence, preferring to read the back of a ceral box instead, according to a survey by financial systems firm Docucorp.

Consumers still find much financial information tedious, and often ignore it due to poor presentation the survey of 1,000 british adults found.

Financial watchdogs have urged banks and other investment providers to make their product information easier to understand.
